Marli's Thoughts
What does H1N1 have to do with Management Matters and the resolution of workplace conflict?
Trouble-Shooter and Third Party Arbitration Services
In certain circumstances, the nature or extent of workplace conflict is such that it cannot be resolved through informal mechanisms. Due to competing interests, protracted history or difficult personalities, management cannot achieve an informal or negotiated compromise to a challenging workplace issue.
In these circumstances, Marli Rusen is available to act as a trouble-shooter or an arbitrator. As a trouble-shooter, Marli will hear evidence from the various parties, in an informal hearing, and issue non-binding recommendations on how to resolve the issue. As an arbitrator, Marli will hear evidence and argument in a formal hearing and will then issue a binding determination based upon the factual evidence and legal principles at play.
